ACE (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme) inhibitors are used to treat high blood pressure in diabetic patients. These ACE medicines have also shown positive results to delay Kidney Diseases in diabetic patients.
Diuretics or Water Pills are also used to treat High Blood Pressure in Diabetic Patients.

How High Blood Pressure can be prevented in Diabetic Patients?

To prevent High Blood Pressure in Diabetic Patients they should practice the following things in their daily routine.
  • Quit Smoking
  • Eat a healthy diet
  • Maintain a healthy body weight as per the BMI scale
  • Exercise Regularly
  • Eat less salt than normal person.
