  1. For me the best thing to bring my Blood Pressure down very quickly was weight training, at 71 years, resting BP 110/65 on average, with Heart Rate 44.
    I workout 1hour a day 6days a week, ,fast mid range weights and push ups,
    Works like a dream, my mood is Fantastic as well.

  2. This morning my resting blood pressure in the left arm was 239/79 with a pulse reading of 59, in my right arm it was 267/110 with a pulse of 62. I take a lot of meds to lower my bp, but it does not seem to do what I need to have done.

    1. Check your potassium, get it as close to 5 mmol/L as you can. Keep a close eye to n your levels because hyperkalemia (high potassium) is dangerous.

  5. Confused: just been to see my doctor, my BP was 122/83 I am 62 y/o and he has increased my medication from 5 to 10mg. Am I missing something

    1. In such a case you should ask. A good doctor should give appropriate answer to your question. There might some other reason behind increase in dose, might be some other test report....(just a possibility). You should never hesitate to ask your doctor.
