  1. For me the best thing to bring my Blood Pressure down very quickly was weight training, at 71 years, resting BP 110/65 on average, with Heart Rate 44.
I workout 1hour a day 6days a week, ,fast mid range weights and push ups,
Works like a dream, my mood is Fantastic as well.

    1. More people should emulate your activity! Exercise - particularly weight training is of great value to overall mental and physical health.

  2. This morning my resting blood pressure in the left arm was 239/79 with a pulse reading of 59, in my right arm it was 267/110 with a pulse of 62. I take a lot of meds to lower my bp, but it does not seem to do what I need to have done.

    1. You need to visit a specialist as soon as possible, as your systolic blood pressure is much above normal.

    1. Check your potassium, get it as close to 5 mmol/L as you can. Keep a close eye to n your levels because hyperkalemia (high potassium) is dangerous.

    1. In such a case you should ask. A good doctor should give appropriate answer to your question. There might some other reason behind increase in dose, might be some other test report....(just a possibility). You should never hesitate to ask your doctor.
