According to Ayurveda this combination is heaviest and toxin-forming. It creates heaviness in the body. But still if you like it then make sure that banana is very ripe and add cardamom and nutmeg to make it digestible.

Yogurt with Fruit

Ayurveda don’t advise mixing any sour fruits with dairy products. It diminishes digestive fire, produce toxins and cause sinus congestion, cold, cough and allergies. If you like the taste of Yogurt with fruit then make sure that Yogurt is not cold. You can mix honey, cinnamon, and raisins. 

Fruit after a Meal

A regular meal contain fat, protein, starch and other elements that need to stay in stomach to get digested. While most of the fruits contain sugar, which needs no digestion and it passes through stomach after very short period of time. If your eat fruits after meal then that sugar stays in the stomach for a longer period and get fermented. 

Protein and Starch

Protein and starches need different enzymes and different levels of acidity to be digested. If we eat them together then our body make a choice to digest protein. Undigested starch undergoes fermentation and leads to poisonous end-products. Grilled Cheese Sandwich is one of the best examples of such combination.

Tomato and Starchy Carbs

Tomatoes are acidic and should not be mixed with starchy carbs such as pasta. Carbohydrates should not be mixed with acids. It takes a lot of energy from body to digest this combination which cause digestive problems and after-meal fatigue. 

Beans and Cheese

It will lead to gas and bloating. None of them alone can do that, but this combination.

  • Don't drink buttermilk during night
